Safeguarding Children
and
Vulnerable Adults

Peterborough Diocese takes safeguarding children and vulnerable adults very seriously. Every parish or benefice has a named Safeguarding Officer whose responsibilities include ensuring that everyone who has significant contact with children is properly checked and monitored.

Alan Kent is the Safeguarding Officer for St.Michael's, Bugbrooke. He can be contacted on 01604 830518.

The Diocese works closely with the police and social services when specific concerns about children or vulnerable adults arise. Our Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, Garry Johnson, is available to support and advise parishes and individuals. Follow the links on our safeguarding website to find out more. Safeguarding
